Friends of the San Marcos Cemetery is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the resources, services, and historical significance ofthe San Marcos Cemetery in San Marcos, Texas. 2009 Officers are: Dianne Pape, President Pat Murdock,  President-Elect Ryan Perkins, Vice President Jane Hughson, Secretary Rose Ayers, Treasurer Meetings are held quarterly and held at the Parks and Recreation Department, 401 E. Hopkins. And yes, D.P.Hopkins is buried in the San Marcos Cemetery!
